CSRD EXPANDS ADVISORY BOARD

International, Socially Responsible Company Focuses on Environmental Leadership, Entrepreneurship with Advisory Board Expansion

Cobble Hill, British Columbia, Canada – Dec. 10, 2007 – Clark Sustainable Resource Developments Ltd. (CSR Developments), an international developer of sustainable tropical hardwoods, has expanded its advisory board with an emphasis on environmental and international business expertise.  Professor Charles A. Holloway and Dr. Assheton L. Stewart Carter recently joined CSRD’s advisory board and bring extensive global and leadership experience to CSRD, which is preparing to launch harvest operations of underwater tropical timber resources in Volta Lake.  The Volta Lake project is expected to be the largest underwater tropical timber recovery operation ever undertaken.

Professor Holloway is a director of the Stanford Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the Graduate School of Business, which focuses on curriculum development and research on smaller, rapidly growing companies. He was the founding co-chair of the Stanford Integrated Manufacturing Association, a cooperative effort between the Graduate School of Business and the School of Engineering, which focuses on research and curriculum development in technology and manufacturing.

Professor Holloway holds the Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers Professorship in Management Emeritus, and has become a leader in the study and teaching of entrepreneurship, supply networks, and technology management. He has served as a board member for more than 10 start-up companies in a range of industries.

Dr. Carter is a strategist, planner and expert in environmental and social issues. For 12 years he has guided senior management of international companies in building leadership, environmental and sustainability strategies, as well as climate change solutions. Dr. Carter has advised Alcoa, Disney, Royal Caribbean, RioTinto, AngloAmerican, ConocoPhillips, BP, Chevron, De Beers, BG, Newmont Mining, ExxonMobil, Xstrata, Wal-Mart and ABNAMRO. Presently he is head strategist and senior director of strategic planning at the Center for Environmental Leadership in Business at Conservation International in Washington DC.

Dr. Carter has written journal articles, reports and book chapters, and serves on the editorial board of the scholarly journal Sustainability: Science, Practice and Policy. He holds a doctorate in Business and Society Studies from the University of Bath, School of Management and is a Member of the Royal Agricultural College in the UK, from which he holds a first class honors degree.
