Salvaging Submerged Tropical Timber
Re-claiming a new, green wood resource
Clark Sustainable Resource Developments Ltd. (CSR Developments) is a privately held Canadian company established in 2005. It is dedicated to securing and operating licenses to harvest underwater forests in the tropical regions of the world. The company is currently focused on its first such resource project at the Volta Lake in Ghana.
CSR Developments was founded on the belief that business
should produce social good and contribute to the sustainability of our
planet's ecosystem while producing financial returns that reasonably
reward the risk and commitment of its shareholders.
Management believes that the Volta Lake concession has the potential to become one of the world's most valuable forestry resources.
The Volta Lake Project in Ghana
Submerged tropical forests around the world are still a largely untapped resource. CSR Developments is gearing up to salvage trees from the world's largest man-made lake (by surface area), the Volta Lake in Ghana. The company is partnering with a broad range of organizations to address environmental and social concerns.
