Patch Bonkemeyer

Director, Operations

Patrick (Patch) Bonkemeyer has worked for over 30 years in the forest products industry. His experience includes pulp and paper, lumber, engineered wood products and panels. He has a strong background in operations, but has also been responsible for sales and marketing, engineering, as well as product development. He has experience with joint venture and new business development, and as a board member and corporate officer of a number of entities.

Prior to joining CSRD in 2007, Bonkemeyer was senior vice-president of operations with Canadian Forest Products Inc. (Canfor) with responsibility for 21 manufacturing operations and the associated woodlands operations across Canada. Prior to that role, he was responsible for the Engineered Wood Products business for Louisiana Pacific Corp. with annual sales of approx. $500 million. He also held various operational roles with Boise Cascade, James River and Kimberly Clark.

Bonkemeyer holds a BS from the University of Alabama in mechanical engineering and is a registered professional engineer in Utah and Washington.
